When you buy our Copper River Salmon know it has been gillnet caught from a local inshore drift gillnet fishery. You are not buying salmon caught with massive high sea drift nets sweeping the open ocean. Copper River fishery still consists of small family operations.

Our Copper River fish come from a select group of independent fisherfolk.  These experienced fishermen and women are skilled at producing the highest quality of Copper River Wild Salmon.  They are dedicated to the proper handling and on borad chilling of every fish. Each fishing vessel has an RSW, slush ice, or layer ice system.  When the fishing period closes the boats deliver their catch to the dock.The fish is professionally processed for Northern Lights Seafood and other customers specification.
